For children and the elderly, common healthcare situations can be scary, nerve-racking, or even just depressing and lonely. There’s also a significant shortage of staff in many common facilities. After witnessing children playing with Robin, we knew we wanted to help this novel mission gain traction. Robin is a research-backed robot designed for pediatrics and geriatrics, helping patients through difficult joy and sparking real connection.

Scientific, yet approachable.
Juggling multiple audiences at different phases in their lives is no easy task. We wanted to appeal to the different stakeholders of facility owners, patients, and of course, investors. We started with a deep dive into the value proposition, creating a messaging strategy and updated pitch deck copy. We then used our new strategy to rebuild the visuals and messaging from the ground up in a way that would appeal to Robin’s most important audiences.
New logo, new brand.
Our key insight was to help establish Robin as both the physical product (what you buy when purchasing), and also the emotional significance (a friendly helper who spreads joy and love). We created an abstraction of Robin’s personality for the logo, while creating a more grounded 3D world to help facility owners understand the product better.
A win, win, win.
For facility owners, Robin eases the burden of caretakers and creates a much better patient experience. For patients, they get an antidote to isolation and fear. For investors? Robin is an exciting and compassionate way to look at the future of healthcare.

We believe that just because technology is new, that doesn’t mean it has to be scary. There’s enormous potential for technology to make everyday experiences better for us and our loved ones. We loved being able to use a multidisciplinary approach to help Robin shine. Simply put, the future looks brighter with Robin in it.

Those of us who have children know how tough medical experiences can be. Watching a loved one age in isolation is equally heartbreaking. To help bring more care, compassion, and kindness to situations of stress and isolation is a deep honor, and we believe in the importance of Robin’s work for young and old alike!
